NEW Male Fertility & Sexual Health Podcast!

For the last 16 years of my professional life, I have penned over 600 blogs about men. I have verbally danced around, mucked around, poked and prodded at, lambasted and celebrated, all things sexual and reproductive that have to do with these unique homo sapiens. I have called them what they are, at once cavepersons, puerile beings, reactive animals and also soulful, powerful, intuitive, loving, emotional and intelligent creatures. I have been privy to their deepest secrets, innermost truths, blissful wishes, saddest moments and most outrageous lies regarding matters of sex, erections and fertility. And now, my friends, all this written experience and wisdom has been brought to life in Talk With Turek, a brand-spanking new video podcast about men’s sexual health.

Celluloid Manalysis

Based on so many fascinating facts I learned about men in my 3 decades as a clinician and zoologist of the species, it behooved me to broadcast these findings to a larger audience on a screen. Similar to how Anthony Bourdain famously and inimitably explored cuisine, culture and the human condition, I sought to better convey what makes men tick and what ticks them off, how they perceive and how they’re perceived, and why they do what they do.

Bro Convo

But I needed a sidekick to make this work. An everyman, a regular guy, someone who not only feels but can express feelings. One who wanders through manhood full of ideas and opinions but is not quite sure if they’re right or wrong. The perfect accomplice was my good friend Rob Clyde, who I came to know after helping him produce his award-winning short film If I Could Tell You. With great stars like Kevin Richardson, Avery Clyde, Sharon Lawrence and Jim O’Heir, this film delves into the online, underworld of fertility treatments. It authentically portrays the profound intensity and depth of emotions and drama that are part and parcel of the infertility struggle. Moreover, it’s brilliant and poured forth from Rob’s own infertility experience.

As birds of a feather, we joined to make Talk With Turek a real, relatable, reputable, unalloyed, transparent and timeless source of knowledge about men. It’s short, meaty, salty and sweet, and I guarantee you that you will learn more about men from this podcast than men know about themselves. We seek to do with men’s health what Anthony Bourdain did for food, may he rest in peace: “The celebrity-chef thing, even at its worst, its most annoying, its silliest, its goofiest, its most egregious and cynical, has been a good thing.”
