Salomon’s Xt Pu.re Advanced Silhouette Builds off of the Iconic Xt Lineup

If we were rounding up the most iconic silhouettes of the 2020s so far, Salomon’s Xt-6 would undoubtedly make the cut. Although they originally dropped over a decade ago in 2013, the gorped-out runners from the legendary French sports label have been one of the hottest silhouettes over the last five years, and are only getting more popular. Salomon is also dedicated to sustainability, through raising awareness about our impact on the planet and working to use more recycled materials in its gear. This sustainable mission and that unmistakable Xt style are now coming together in Salomon’s all-new Xt Pu.re Advanced silhouette, boasting a recyclable material construction and an updated look.

Building off of the Xt lineup (particularly the Xt-6s), this new silhouette features Salomon’s Advanced Chassis system for a stable ride (and signature Quicklace system), alongside a molded TPU Sensitfit cage to keep your feet secure. It’s equipped with a blend of synthetic and textile on the upper, lined with polyester, and wrapped in that sleek Sensifit cage. Not only is this new silhouette a step forward stylistically, but it’s also made with recyclable materials (using TPU for the midsole, outsole, chassis, and Sensifit cage), giving it a sustainable edge.

The Xt silhouettes and Advanced lineup from Salomon have always been among the most daring from a design perspective, and it’s clear that the label is doubling down on the Xt, given its insane success over the last five years. We included the earth-toned White Pepper/Black/Falcon colorway here, but the all-black Black/Black/Phantom colorway is just as impressive and bolsters the futuristic look.

The Salomon Xt Pu.re Advanced is available now for $250 in the White Pepper/Black/Falcon colorway featured here and the blacked-out Black/Black/Phantom one (the frosty Vanilla Ice/Glacier Gray/Silver Reflective colorway is slated to follow shortly in April).
