We remember covering Maeving’s flagship electric motorcycle here on the pages of The Coolector and thinking that it was undoubtedly the coolest looking on the market at the time and they’ve just outdone themselves with their latest release – the RMS1 Electric Motorcycle. Billed as the brand’s fastest and most powerful steed to fate, there’s a lot to be impressed with when taking in the RMS1. It has been designed to deliver the joy and freedom of motorcycling to those who want to take the best of yesterday on tomorrow’s journey.
Pre-orders are open for the Maeving RMS1 Electric Motorcycle and it can be yours for the thoroughly reasonable price of just £7495. It is available in an array of colour combinations – including our favourite Harlequin design – and it keeps the same first principles and design aesthetic that made the Maeving RM1 so iconic. This brand-new version from Maeving has more than twice the power, and by achieving highway speeds, it brings emissions-free riding to those whose journeys leave the city and head to the countryside.
With a highway-capable top speed of a mighty impressive 65mph, the Maeving RM1S Electric Motorcycle is designed for those who want more power and performance off the mark and it certainly doesn’t disappoint from a visual standabout either as it possesses the sort of old-school, retro vibe that we love here at The Coolector. An eye-catching range of 80 miles puts it right up there with the best of them and you can charge the battery either in-situ on the bike or remove it for more versatile charging options.
The Maeving RM1S features 2 x 2.7kWh batteries with LG cells. These deliver 7kW continuous power and 10.5kW peak power to a new hub motor to ensure a top-quality performance wherever your adventures take you. There are two methods for charging the Maeving RM1S. You can charge the batteries onboard with an external charger plugged into the mains, or you can remove the batteries and charge from a standard 3-pin socket and to charge from 0-100% will take under 4 hours – perfect for overnight charging after a day of urban adventuring.
