Florence and Milan, January 2026
Italy is preparing to launch the autumn winter 2026–27 menswear season with two of the industry’s most closely watched events, beginning in Florence before moving on to Milan.
The season opens in Florence with Pitti Uomo, running from January 13 to January 16 at the Fortezza da Basso. The menswear trade fair will host more than 750 brands, bringing together established names, emerging designers and international buyers for four days of presentations, installations and special projects.
This season’s edition will place an emphasis on movement, functionality and contemporary tailoring, while continuing to spotlight niche labels and experimental design. Alongside clothing collections, the fair will also feature dedicated areas for accessories, lifestyle products and niche fragrances, reinforcing Pitti Uomo’s role as a broad platform for men’s fashion and culture.
Following Florence, the focus shifts to Milan for Milano Fashion Week Uomo, which will run from January 16 to January 20. The calendar includes a busy schedule of runway shows, presentations and digital events, reflecting the city’s importance as a global menswear hub.
Major Italian fashion houses are set to present during the Milan leg of the season, alongside contemporary and emerging labels. Several brands will also use the week to mark significant anniversaries, underlining the longevity and evolving identity of Italy’s menswear industry.
Beyond the catwalks, Milan will host a series of cultural events, discussions and industry initiatives tied to the wider creative economy, as the city continues preparations linked to the upcoming Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Together, Florence and Milan will once again set the pace for the international menswear calendar, ahead of later shows in Paris and other fashion capitals.
