Huckberry x Easymoc’s Scout Boots Are Handcrafted in Maine

We’re in somewhat of a comfy shoe renaissance at the moment, with labels capitalizing on the popularity of mules and mocs in any way they can. A brand by the name of Easymoc has definitely been one to watch in the space, crafting high-quality footwear in small batches over in Maine (in a garage, no less). The label’s effortless blend of leather moc style with slipper comfort caught the attention of Huckberry, which now regularly collaborates with the East Coast company. Now, the duo is back with another exclusive release: the Huckberry x Easymoc Scout Boot and each pair is made by hand one at a time here in the States.

Starting up top, you get a North American leather upper that’s been treated with a pull-up effect, a process of pulling the leather to make it more flexible and reveal more tones in the leather’s color. The inside is lined with cow leather, and features an Ortholite Comfort footbed covered with mesh (both recycled). For support, a rubber Vibram Christy outsole keeps your feet cushioned and gives you some sneaker-like support, and the boots are designed to form to your feet as you wear them.

Each pair of these boots is handcrafted in Maine by traditional moccasin craftsmen in small batches, and every detail is handled Stateside, from the laces to the glue. It also boasts a resoleable construction, meaning they’re built for the long haul and will last as long as you take care of them, and the leather will develop a nice patina over time.

The Huckberry x Easymoc Scout Boot in the Toast and Honey colorways is available now for $360. Keep in mind that this is a limited release and a Huckberry exclusive, so you’ll want to act fast if you’re interested.
