HOKA’s Restore TC Slip-Ons Are Designed for Comfort

Whether it’s Nike with ACG or Arc’Teryx with System_A, we’re in a bit of a rugged renaissance when it comes to fashion. HOKA, another mainstay in the athletic space, may not have its own boutique brand focused on fashionable streetwear (yet), but the company is certainly aware of how style can elevate a good product to a great one (made clear by the label’s unique silhouettes). The HOKA TC 1.0s only came out in May this year, and they’re undoubtedly high-quality runners with best-in-class support, but they also have a city-friendly design with a silhouette that’s very much in line with the boxy sneakers in style right now. Slip-ons are another popular style in the footwear game, and HOKA has just dropped the Restore TCs, a pair of laceless shoes based on the TC 1.0, with slip-on style and daily comfort in mind.

The HOKA Restore TC comes in at 11.30oz with a heel-to-toe drop of 5.00mm, and features a plush footbed that provides neutral stability. A full-knit sock lining allows you to comfortably rock the shoes barefoot, and the engineered stretch zones ensure a snug fit that’s not too constricting. Although these were designed with comfort and recovery in mind, the EVA toe cap gives extra protection from debris if you decide to hit the trails.

These shoes are vegan and built sustainably with a 100% recycled polyester strobel board, a removable 30% sugarcane-based EVA insole, and a 20% sugarcane-based EVA outsole. The polyester upper is also dope dyed (meaning water wasn’t used in the dyeing process) to further reduce environmental impact.

The HOKA Restore TC shoes are available starting at $110 through specialist HOKA retailers and online, and more colorways are coming to HOKA’s website this month.
