With a factory lift kit and a supercharged V8 cranking out 450hp and 510ft-lbs of torque, Ford’s F-150 Raptor is already one of the most capable turnkey pickup models in existence. For those wanting even more power, Texas’ Hennessey Performance Engineering has now rolled out a markedly more powerful and all-around more capable F-150-based super truck with its new Venom 800 package.
HPE’s Venom 800 package takes the F-150 Raptor’s power and performance and cranks it up several notches. This spare-no-expense upgrade package includes a custom-developed lift kit, a host of top-shelf off-road components, and an engine making supercar-levels of horsepower and torque.
At the heart of the Venom 800 F-150 is a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that’s been specially tuned and upgraded by Hennessey’s in-house team. Benefitting from Hennessey’s proprietary engine management calibration, the eight-banger has been gifted a 3.0-liter supercharger system, more boost pressure, an upgraded air-to-water intercooler and air induction system, a performance fuel-injector upgrade, and a high-flow fuel system upgrade. The engine also now ejects spent fumes from a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system with dual tips.
Thanks to its generous bevy of upgrades, the Venom 800 F-150’s V8 is now good for a whopping 800hp and 757ft-lbs of torque. With all this power on tap, the truck can now rocket from 0-60mph in just 3.4 seconds and achieve quarter mile runs in only 11.7 seconds — making it quicker than a Porsche 911. Born out of hundreds of hours of research and development, this upgrade package also benefits from in-house chassis and dyno testing, and a three-year / 36,000-mile warranty.
It’s not just the F-150’s power that’s been massively stepped-up, but also its braking, handling, and off-roading abilities. These improved performance characteristics are owed to top-of-the-line six-pot Brembo performance brakes and an equally-premium six-inch BDS suspension upgrade with FOX 2.0 coilovers. The entire rig also now rides on a set of 20-inch Hennessey Signature 10-spoke wheels shod in 35-inch off-road tires.
The exterior of the F-150 has been treated to a wide array of off-road-focused elements including Hennessey Signature Steel Venom bumpers fore and aft, integrated LED lighting, an exposed carbon grille, illuminated fender vent badges, Venom Red-painted fender vent accents, electronic fold-out running boards, and smooth paint-matched fender flares. Every component is professionally installed by HPE, too.
The Venom 800 F-150’s cabin has also been treated to a few minor updates and custom elements. The interior now features painted American Flag trim inserts, Hennessey driver and passenger All-Weather floor mats, a Hennessey stitched script headrest upgrade, and a serial numbered plaque.
With 800hp on tap and a supercar-esque 0-60mph time, the Venom 800 F-150 package is a wildly impressive feat of engineering. Unlike many modern muscle cars, the Venom 800 doesn’t merely deliver straight-line speed, and offers surprisingly nimble handling and off-road capabilities that put even the F-150 Raptor and Ram TRX to shame. It’s further separated from other turn-key off-road pickups through its luxurious interior, world-class craftsmanship, and a factory-comparable multi-year warranty — a rarity for exotic “super” models like this.
