Of all the adventure ready vehicles on the market that we’d like to own here at Coolector HQ, a retro Ford Bronco is chief amongst them. We’re not savages though and would like one that has been made a bit more 21st century ready such as this stunning Coyote-Powered 1974 Ford Bronco available to buy from the guys at Bring A Trailer.
With five days remaining on the auction, there is a current bid of $80k for this Coyote-Powered 1974 Ford Bronco so it’s patently clear this one isn’t going to come cheap. And with good reason. The truck was recently acquired by a selling dealer and has been refurbished and modified. It has a 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine, a six-speed automatic transmission, and a Dana 20 dual-range transfer case.
This striking truck also has custom roll pans, bolt-on wheel arch extensions, Earl Grey paint, Tobacco leather upholstery, 17-inch Vision Motorsports wheels, an aluminium 9-inch rear axle, a family roll cage, hydroboosted four-wheel disc brakes, body and suspension lifts, power-operated side steps, front bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, Kicker speakers, and a JVC touchscreen head unit.
Fabricated roll pans and bolt-on wheel arch extensions have been installed before the Coyote-Powered 1974 Ford Bronco was refinished in Earl Grey paint during the refurbishment process and, as you can see, it is presented in an immaculate condition. Some of the standout details of this lot from Bring A Trailer include a white-finished family roll bar, LED headlights, chrome bumpers, and AMP Research power-operated side steps.
The truck has 17-inch Vision Motorsports beadlock-capable wheels with 35×12.50-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires that were manufactured in 2022. It also has a Borgeson power steering unit, a 3-inch body lift, a 2.5-inch suspension lift with dual shocks at each corner, and a hydroboost system with four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin of the Coyote-Powered 1974 Ford Bronco has front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Tobacco leather, which also extends to the dashboard, centre armrest, door and side panels. It also has Vintage Air climate control, fabricated interior panels, twin transfer case shifters, Kicker speakers, and a touchscreen JVC head unit with Apple CarPlay connectivity.
