Audemars Piguet launched its [RE]Master “collection” in 2020. It has taken four years for it to expand from one watch to two with the [RE]Master02. Inspired by the rare ref. 5159BA from the late ’50s/early ’60s, it has an angular, asymmetrical 41mm case made from the brand’s Sand Gold. The dial features different shades of PVD blue, with sand gold lines in between that serve as hour markers and match the sand gold hands. The Brutalism-inspired case is capped by a crystal cut to match the unique shape and holds an automatic Caliber 7129 movement. Set on a blue Alligator leather strap, it’s limited to 250 examples.
