Both art and music fans can appreciate Heritage Auctions’ upcoming lot. The Modern & Contemporary Art Signature Auction will feature Andy Warhol’s Mick Jagger Screenprint. Created in 1975, the abstract portrait renders the Rolling Stones frontman on arches aquarelle paper in a neutral palette. The artwork is part of a series of ten portraits of the rock star commissioned by art dealer Richard Ziegler. It’s numbered 248/250 and is signed in pencil by the artist, while Mick Jagger’s signature is in red ink on the lower left corner. Bidding for the piece will begin on April 23rd and end on May 14th.
