Vagabund Moto continues expanding from its core motorcycle business into autos, this time with a Land Rover Defender 90. An appropriate follow-up to Vagabund’s 944 Safari and Lada Niva, the shop had help with the build from off-road specialists Dakar Garage. Completely stripped to the frame, the SUV has been rebuilt in Vagabund’s signature black-and-grey colorway. Flared fenders cover larger wheels and tires, with new steel bumpers front and rear. The interior has been refreshed with new sport seats, Alcantara on the dash, and a removable Bluetooth speaker cube. Marble flooring covers the bed, and a new V8 is backed by a five-speed manual. Vagabund is honest about the build: Instead of a hardcore trailblazer, this Defender is made for leisurely beach drives and weekend trips to the coffeehouse.
