SUPER73 Unveils Its Limited Edition Blackout Series Ebikes

Since its inception in 2016, Irvine-based outfit SUPER73 has quickly become one of the biggest and most respected names in the ebike space, with an ever-growing selection of ultra-approachable retro-inspired two-wheelers kicked along by fully electric powertrains. And the latest release from the Southern California company isn’t a single bike, but rather an entire lineup of limited edition models appropriately dubbed the SUPER73 Blackout Collection.

Comprised of three bikes in total, the Blackout Collection is made up of limited edition versions of SUPER73’s R-Series, S-Series, and Z-Series bikes — all of which are based on the upgraded Adventure Series-specs. As the collection’s name suggests, each of the trio of bikes in this limited edition lineup sports a completely blacked-out appearance with a satin finish, from the frame to the seat to the bodywork to even the rims and spokes. This three-bike collection was also created using crowd-sourced feedback from SUPER73’s existing customers in order to determine which tweaks and upgrades would be most impactful and most appreciated.

On top of their murdered-out liveries, each of the three Blackout Collection models also gain a variety of new accessories and upgraded components that all come as standard fare. On top of front suspension, headlights, horns, and eight-speed kits, each bike also comes loaded with an extended seat, GRZLY tires, Chromoly steel mid-rise Blain handlebars with Oury Grips, and SUPER73’s best-selling rear luggage rack. Additionally, the braking hardware on these all-electric two-wheelers has been up-specced and now features a top-of-the-line hydraulic MT5e setup from Magura with quad-piston calipers. The range-topping R-Series Blackout model — the only one in the trio that features a rear suspension — has also been fitted with a premium, adjustable FOX Float 3 EVOL shock.

Limited to just 2,000 units in total, the SUPER73 Blackout Collection is available for order now, with pricing set at $3,095 for the SUPER73-Z Blackout SE, $3,795 for the SUPER73-S Blackout SE, and $4,295 for the SUPER73-R Blackout SE. Additionally, alongside the Blackout Collection, the company has also debuted its vibrant SUPER73-Z Miami SE — which has been priced at $2,295.
