The successor to the Chiron has arrived and smashes the previous car’s numbers in every conceivable way. Taking inspiration from watchmaking, the Tourbillon is a ground-up, clean-sheet design, from the engine and chassis to the interior. Gone is the long-running W16. In its place is an 8.3-liter V16, developed with Cosworth. Aided by three electric motors, total output is a staggering 1,800 horsepower — enough to steam from 0-60 in two seconds and on to a top speed of 276 MPH. The bodywork is more evolutionary than revolutionary, with a longer, lower, and wider appearance marked by details like a centerline crease running the length of the car a single vertical windshield wiper. The iconic Bugatti horseshoe grille returns, along with two-tone paintwork and the unique intakes behind the doors. Underneath the carbon fiber body is where the real beauty lies, with a carbon fiber monocoque sporting intricate 3D-printed wishbones, earning the Tourbillon its name. The Tourbillon will begin production in 2026 with 250 units slated to be made.
